The Fort Ritchie Community Center’s mission is to improve lives in our rural communities in Washington & Frederick Counties in Maryland and Franklin & Adams Counties in Pennsylvania. We offer programs and services to serve individuals and families through fitness classes, youth programs, community events, and more!

The Frederick Food Security Network (FFSN) is a community gardening program from the Hood College Center for Coastal and Watershed Studies. We are establishing a network of community gardens in Frederick, MD, in order to improve food security for residents of local food deserts, reduce local water pollution by diverting rooftop runoff for use as irrigation and promote better eating habits and environmental stewardship in the Frederick community.

Free Range Kids & Teens summer performing arts learning opportunities are social, active, and fun, and our focus on Activating Creativity means your kid will come away with skills and confidence they’ll carry into everything they do.
Students in most classes will be invited to perform or showcase their work on August 15th as part of our End of Summer Celebration, an affirming and joyful way to launch them into the school year.

OUR GOALS
Frisky’s will accept all Wildlife regardless of physical condition, mental handicaps or problems.
Frisky’s will provide the best care, medicine, and food to each critter and bird as soon as it arrives. To be sure to complete the paperwork and pictures to have a record or each animal.
Frisky’s will provide clean enclosures that are adequate and safe for each individual animal.
As soon as they are physically fit, Frisky’s will:
Get the Wildlife back to nature or the State Park right away.
Get domestic animals into adoptive homes. Note – No one can adopt or foster parent any domestic pet unless they have a vet, experience, and a driver’s license to verify identity.
You must have your heart in the right place, but more important, your brains must be in gear to provide for each animal’s individual needs.
