Fountain Rock Park is Frederick’s first environmental park on 22.5 acres of historical, ecological and family-friendly land. Fountain Rock is listed with the Maryland Historical Trust.
The Frederick Bocce working group is organized under Friends of Baker Park, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer-staffed community service organization dedicated to fostering community involvement in the preservation, restoration, use, and maintenance of Baker Park.
Our purpose is to promote and enjoy the game of Bocce. We are a friendly and supportive group, placing the emphasis on having fun!

Our mission is to protect, preserve and display the artifacts of the history and tradition of the fire and rescue service of Frederick County, Maryland. With the purchase of the first fire engine by the City of Frederick in 1764, fire protection has been consistently provided to the citizens of our county.
As you “Walk Through the History of the Frederick County Fire & Rescue Service”, you will find artifacts, pictures, and apparatus that tell the story of the individual companies and the many members of the county fire and rescue service.

Free Range Kids & Teens summer performing arts learning opportunities are social, active, and fun, and our focus on Activating Creativity means your kid will come away with skills and confidence they’ll carry into everything they do.
Students in most classes will be invited to perform or showcase their work on August 15th as part of our End of Summer Celebration, an affirming and joyful way to launch them into the school year.
