A&D Stars is a Chinese Dual Immersion Preschool Program that offers a unique opportunity for young children (age 2-5) to effortlessly master Mandarin Chinese while obtaining a quality preschool education. Founded in 2015, A&D Stars provides a rich preschool environment that supports optimal Chinese language learning by tying language to the day-to-day activities in our play-based curriculum. Children naturally acquire a broad vocabulary in Mandarin while developing social, emotional, physical and cognitive skills. English literacy instruction is also brought to class every day to ensure that children acquire not only strong Mandarin skills but also the fundamentals of English literacy.
Our classroom allows children to engage in an active, hands-on, spontaneous learning environment. We use the Maryland state recommended Creative Curriculum, and consistently adapt it to meet the needs of kids at different levels. All our teachers have a college degree and meet MSDE required preschool teacher qualification.

The Learning Bee is an accredited and family owned preschool and childcare the community since 2007. Your child will enjoy activities that will be exciting and challenging to the young mind. Staying active; outdoor and nature based activities; and an introduction to the arts keep the children happy and engaged. Currently offering E-Learning Pod – The Hive, for Kindergarten – 3rd grade to support distance learning. We accept children from Infant – Age 9 years.

The Temple: A Paul Mitchell Partner School, first opened our doors back in 2005. Our beauty school is housed in a 15,000-square-foot, 100-year-old Masonic building located right in the heart of Frederick. The exposed brick walls of our salon and classrooms are covered with original murals and hand-blown fixtures from local artists.
