Moon Valley Farm is a woman-owned specialty vegetable and herb farm located in Woodsboro, in Frederick County, Maryland. Since 2012, we have grown for a Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) program and for restaurants in Frederick, DC and Baltimore. We offer our customers our own organically-grown vegetables, as well as fruit, mushrooms, sourdough bread, organic eggs, grains and beans from other Maryland farmers we know and trust. We love farming and feeding our community!

The Common Market Co-op is a community-owned natural foods grocery store serving Frederick and the surrounding area. The Co-op has a café with a juice and smoothie bar, Fair Trade organic coffee bar and a great selection of salads, soups, and sandwiches. The Common Market also offers in-house cut meat and ocean friendly seafood, and carries a wide variety of products in our wellness department to support a healthy lifestyle. The Co-op works with local farmers and producers to provide consumers with the highest quality, freshest food available and to keep local farms and businesses in our community.

The Sweet Farm is a multi-generational farm focusing on sustainability in its food production, building, and daily living. We offer monthly protein subscriptions delivered right to your door. Filled with the best local protein (pork, beef, chicken and eggs) in Frederick county, our new subscription boxes are the easiest (and tastiest) way to save time, shop safely, and support local farms.

We are a 4th generation family farm that has been offering a fall festival for over 20 years! New for 2020, we are kicking off our season with a two week Sunflower Festival on September 12th! There is something fun for all ages at our farm with over 25 activities to enjoy. We have 9 acres of 20+ different varieties and colors of U-Pick Pumpkins, free Hay rides, Maryland’s Largest Corn Maze, an interactive farm animal area, a Pumpkin Jump Pillow, Mini Beeline Ziplines, Apple Cannons & much more! A great place for birthday parties, and family occasions, we also offer private campfires and live music at our “Nights on the Farm”.
