Since 1982, Believe In Tomorrow has provided over 900,000 individual overnight accommodations, from every state in the U.S. and more than 82 countries worldwide. Our Story

In March of 2002, Ann Tyler and Dawn Zimmerman opened Belleza Hair and Nail Studio in a tiny 800 square foot space in the Monocacy Village Shopping Center. Their dream has always been to offer quality beauty services at competitive prices, and over the years, have employed motivated and talented professionals to continue that legacy.  In 2011, they took a leap of faith and moved to Belleza’s current location at 244 East Patrick Street, tripling their space and staff. They have continued to place their focus on education, value, and delivering a clean and comfortable environment for their guests while always giving back and contributing to the community.  Belleza is the premier boutique salon in Downtown Frederick for all of your beauty services!

Beth Sholom, a Conservative-affiliated egalitarian congregation, has served the Frederick community for more than 100 years. We offer numerous educational and worship opportunities, social and cultural events, and community-oriented activities for members of all ages. We encourage our congregants to take advantage of the many avenues of participation we offer.

Beth Sholom’s educational offerings include Beth Sholom Early Childhood Center for two- to four-year-olds, religious education for children ages five through 16, and a variety of courses for adults taught by Rabbi Hersh, Cantor Shulie and Rabbi Tzvi Tuchman from Baltimore.

Shabbat services are held each Friday evening and Saturday morning, and Tot Shabbat and religious school-led Friday evening services are held monthly. Weekday minyanim are held every Thursday morning.

Youth group advisers plan monthly cultural and social events for children of all ages, and the adult programming committee organizes monthly social, cultural and educational activities for adults.
Beth Sholom members are committed to Tikkun Olam, or repairing the world. Throughout the year congregants engage in service activities that help those in need in the local Frederick community and beyond.

BETTIE JANE’S CENTER OF DANCE ART (BJCDA) was established in 1960 by Mrs. Bettie Jane Bryant, Owner and Director. Students are accepted from age four through adult, beginner to professional. Most of the classes offered at BJCDA are combination classes including, tap, ballet and jazz. Depending upon the age and level of the student, separate extra ballet classes, Irish dance classes and competition level classes are available based on teacher recommendation. The average student-teacher ratio is six to one.
